Sheryne Van Petten

Sheryne has an Agricultural Business Diploma with a Finance Major from Olds College.  She worked for the Royal Bank as an Agricultural Lender for six years, servicing the lending needs of her clients and providing financial analysis to help farmers make sound business decisions.   
In addition to working with AME, Sheryne and her husband operate a grain farm in central Alberta.  She also operates a bookkeeping business from home.  They have 3 children which keep Sheryne busy through volunteering and coaching volleyball and basketball.


Cassandra Rasko

Sales Associate

Cassandra has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and in Agriculture from the University of Alberta. She's grown her skills through her role as a Program Manager for the Agriculture and Food Council for nearly three years, where she developed programs like the Niche Meat Food Processor Network and a Business Mentor Program. Cassandra is passionate about industry working together and forming collaborations and enjoys facilitating these connections. Edmonton based, Cassandra loves spending time hiking, cycling and listening to podcasts. 

Heather Broughton

Principal

Heather and her husband operate a 3rd generation family grain farm in central Alberta. Operating as business manager, she has a strong interest in farm business management and leadership skills, which led her to complete CTEAM as well as the TEPAP program through Texas A & M. She served as Chair for the Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta for four years.

Larry Martin

Principal

Dr. Larry Martin has 40 years’ experience in the agriculture and food sector. In addition to his role with AME Inc, he is also owner of Dr. Larry Martin and Associates, a consulting operation. Most recently, Larry was inducted into Canada's Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2018.
